A dry run would be great, but I'm having to go out of pocket for this. People seem to think I'm dicking around. Sponsor or no sponsor, this event is going to cost me £100 which I don't really have to waste and won't claim back entirely off entrance fees while the entire structure of the event is a pain in the arse. Manouvering it around a 6 hour slot is going to be a close run bitch due to human error. It will NOT be a handful of the OGC core sat around drinking, taking it easy.
If it's dropped from the main tournament billing, that's Mike's choice. The Grand Tournament is his baby. I'll just sort it out on this end. It relieves me from the burden of having to restructure it around the odd member who for whatever reason can't turn up on the day (it might just be me, but you can't leave off a podium player from one GrandT event to another)

As a note the Tournament is the pinnacle of the OGC year and defines everything OGC is. Note also that the annual paintball is integrated into Tournament time and as such its one huge event that also has the champions for the year declared to.
As for roster for your own sake halve it, and as advice switch guilty gear for street fighter, if ur keepin it PS2 then Fire Warrior got higher scores and more sales than Killzone, plus its linked into other OGC things. Subsistence wont be out and im not sure how SF works on network and Splinter Cell is more popular and has network play. the new WRC game is supposed to be better than Mcrae and will probably have more scope for fitting it in. And Battlefront for Battlefield (though the original Battlefreont was a huge seller).
