That, too, happened in the battle for the controls. And Mike isn't a fool purely on semantics, Mike is Moron (capital M)

We need an alternative to Tiger Woods. It won't fit into the format, it doesn't have enough variables.
Modify: Unless it includes times as well. Mike?

We may need to drop Tiger Woods. I'll put up some polls to get some ideas. While the style factor is rock bottom, for fun and competative value we may need to drop it for the latest Smackdown! vs Raw

This event cannot be awcknowledged as an OGC Tournament, the drop of a game because someone doesnt like it is the last straw. All of these ideas to decide who is the 'best gamer' are both discriminatory and foundationless. PC and XBox owners are screwed and if most games are on PS2 then GC owners are handicapped as well along with everyone who has not spent time on each game. ANd one minute heats will decide absolutely nothing + ive never played a game other than a beatemup where games last less than a minute anyway.
On the flip side, this whole idea is very sound in principle of it being a fun event, basically a games day with several games that people interested want to play thus most of the games can be dropped and the ones people want to play can be concentrated on. The Timepslitters day several years ago was both a success and great fun, as it stands this current idea sounds like an expensive waste of a day.
Sorry if you find this harsh but several people have voiced these opinions directly to me and someone had to voice this publicly. If you want to qualify it for Tournament status break it into more insualr ones like a SOul Calibur Tourament etc that way it elvels the playing field. Im all for a day of PS2 relarted fun, but not if it has consqequences.

i agree, this should just be an event, can still be set out like a competition though, having a winner and stuff, just not an official tournament.

Were is the personal dislike? Can Tiger Woods be placed into a leaderboard system were two people on the same par can be distinguished, or not? Would it take all day going on and up the different courses at a sedate pace until an eventual winner was found? Does it have pick up and play value? If I've disquilified it for not liking it, then why have I not updated the listing? It's a legitimate concern that it isn't competative enough across a wider pool of players. You havn't answered so I'm considering alternatives. My first thought was Virtua Tennis, a 'dubious' classic that was at least had quick arcade style gameplay.

I suggested Tiger woods off popularity in terms of sales, and you can always do a 3 holes match.
its easier to do it woith this game than it is top work it out off GT 4. And virtua tennis would take a long time. and i dont care, but pretty much the entire core has complained about this event but havent done so here, and im attempting to voice all their opinions in one go.
professionally i would advise toning this event down, and using this as a trial run and if it really works and creates a top 3 best video gamers then we can think about adding it to Tournament 2006.
This seemed like a good idea at the seniors board meeting, but it was more of a discussion between 3 ppl rather than everyone esle.

Is a 3 holes match competative? How many players can compete at once? How long will it take? Will the winner be absolute or is there a perfect game that can be played? Is there a recorded time to turn to for a tie breaker? This is a logistical nightmare when I have all the facts for an event. I don't for Tiger Woods. These are things I need to know.
