Mike and I have been doing a lot of questing around sorrow's furnace, and so far I've managed to pick up 3 green items from it (including around Grenth's footprint). I've found it invaluable for earning cash fast, and also for picking up loads of equipment for myself to use. Anyone else got to this place (nearest outpost = deldrimor warcamp)?
There's also a lot of XP to be earnt over there, with quests for 8000 available and Mike and I are now up to the final assault. I tried this on my own and got all the way to the end with a -60% death penalty and just could not finish off the fire djinn. I need an OGC expedition!

the final assault quest is a tricky one. if youve got to the fire djinn thats not bad going tho, a fire mage will obviously have difficulty there, have someone in your party take the ranger skill 'winter' this will turn all elemental damage in the area to ice damage, that should increase the damage u do on the djinn by 50%.
as you may have noticed, the djinn do an attack that deals 400 damage, so make sure ur health is above that at all times - take some candy canes or equivalent effect items if u have any.
where possible, lure 1djinn at a time!
if your team stands together on one spot as much as possible while attacking the djinn with the explosives, the damage taken from the 400 attack will be limited to only 1 or 2 ppl being hit, which can be easily healed up by the monks. take a dedicated interupter in the party if possible, a ranger or mesmer hero with the right skills can shut down the djinn and prevent some of that damage. (ask me in game if u want the builds)
its a difficult quest, probably the hardest in tyria, but as with all things in guildwars, there is a method in doing it.
good luck!

We did trample them with ease and you did get a green item out of it. It was hard as hell when I tried to do it on my own plus I went the long way round which didn't help All in all we worked quite well together, very promising for a PvP battle!
