I can remember well, without much joy the days of looking for a party at the Dunes of Despair and Abaddon's Mouth and being kicked off because my build was 'unusable', 'crap' and 'laughable. Several months and two protector titles later here I am with an almost identical build! As an added slice of joy I also solo'd the missions that I was looking for a party for 
Best of all, today after managing to hold a team together at Jenur's Horde people were asking for and copying my Monk build. How time shave changed, its all about skill, and you need a build that you enjoy or you'll never play well or get the best out of the game. Protector titles seem to speak a lot to other payers that you have in some way proved yourself which can get you onto parties a lot easier and people more interested in how you use you r build rather than if it conforms to their preconceptions.
Now with only Cantha to go (I have been saving it, so far 5 missions in, as it has been nowhere near as good as Prophecies or Nightfall). If anyone needs help obtaining bonuses I'll be more than happy to help.And then on to PvP were Guild Wars really comes into its own !
