Right, here's the breakdown.
In house this year (OGC members only) because I'm not set up for another commercial folley this year. Comrades venue, with invitations to last years competetors and casual OGC memebrs (like guy-at-OutThere Chris and the Leatherbarrows).
It will consist of four rounds.
Racing: scored on leaderboard Fighting: duels between every player Shooting: duels between every player Sport: knock out tournament/leaderboard (where appropriate)
Deal-breaker: an way of knocking out tied players until 2 are left for a finals round (e.g. 3 players tied for first in a leaderboard competition. 1st and 2nd place worth 2 points each and 3rd worth 1 point)
Finals round: A best of three made up of head to heads in random games with a Golden Point to give one person the win over all others.
Games are provisionally; Racing: Burnout: Revenge Fighting: Soul Caliber III Shooting: Timesplitters: Future Perfect on t2k6 custom map Elimination Sport: PES 6 Cup
Deal Breaker: Resident Evil 4: The Mercenaries (level and character TBC here)
DISCUSS HERE
There are two controversial rounds here (TS3 on a custom map and RE4) but given how preparation was set up months in advance at OGC: Ormskirk it's tough. I'll set up practise sessions in Liverpool in advance for anyone who can't get to Ormskirk. This includes a RE4 basics tutoring with the simple answer being Don't Draw if you don't want to get into the Deal Breaker round which is only there to fall back on.

Date?
Entry Fee?
Prize?
Don't agree with RE4 but i rather just not draw than bother argueing.
Do want me to invite Tod and Keiron then?

Definately invite them. This will probably be a no prize, prestige tournament while I work on the format but I might make it a £3 entry fee cash pot to the winner tournament if there's enough demand to make the videogames tournament 'the competative one'.

Provisional date Wed 13th Dec (2 weeks this wednesday). It'll go to poll, it might need putting back a week else no one can come. I'll check with Peter about a Sunday date and get back to everyone.
