Magic Tournament will take place at some point over the next 2 months, reply here to get listed for updates. It will be around £12 entry, depending on card costs and of course you get to keep them. The current proposed format is as follows: 1x Ravnica Tournament Pack 1x Guildpact Booster 1x Dissension Booster half an hour to build a deck Round 1 Quickfire single games with each player - a win = 1 point Round 2 Multi Two multiplayers with 1st place = 5 pts down to 5th place = 1 point Round 3 Podium Declaration fo winner. Any tied positions will fight a best of 3 to decide the spot Thats the evolution of the format. 1st year it was all best of 3's and then a fun multiplayer, which everyone then said was the most challenging and fun part. Last year the single games took so long it left time to just squeeze one multiplayer in. Past Winners: 2005 Simon Gray (Kamigawa Block) 2004 Mark Berkley (Mirrodin Block) View Past Magic Tournaments at: ogc.org.uk/Pages/Events/MagicTournament.htm

As a note, entry for the Magic Tournament will close next saturday - i need the £13 (approx.) money in by then, or at very least a promise that its coming. Once we know all the players, we can get the best date.
Simon and Mark - You MUST play in this Tournament...you have reputations to keep!

Would people want Core Set boosters too if I put up the money?
DCI tournaments use three boosters (dropping the middle set after the third comes out) to make up their card pool, and it wouldn't cost any extra? I'll take it to poll in the General Magic section.

some things i need to check
-Minimum deck size is 40 cards -Sideboard can be up to 15 cards -Cards banned by DCI cannot be used (not that there are any in RAV Block) -Up to 4 copies of a card that isnt a basic land in a deck (again not going to happen)
is this right?

Instead of a sideboard you just have your entire card pool, everything else is fine
