THIS IS A NOTE FOR BROWN
Check the magic items for your liche priest and high priest: The first is only allowed 25 pts of items and it has 30, the High Priest is allowed 50 points and has 70. That staff of ravening is a whopping 45 points and the mighty plaques I believe are 25 points (the joys of having almost every army book in pdf format)...

I'm in on the scenery bid. It should definately be the £100 set, because it consists of 3 £50 sets in the one box. Probably because of less postage and packaging expenses and poorer players who have to save up and buy the small ones will eventually get screwed out of £50 extra for the time and hassle of getting the same amount.

All dates have been set for the Warhammer and 40k Tournaments, can everyone please check the relevant threads to confirm all is well.
Provisional dates for Semi finals 1 are Sunday July 9th and Semi Finals 2 is Monday July 10th. Magic Tournament is Tuesday 11th and then 3rd place play-offs on Wednesday 12th and Finals on Thursday 13th & Friday 14th. These are not set as we'll have to see who gets through before final confirmation!

yeah good win brown. i was lucky u wer so unlucky with flamer roles! looking back at my objectives for each unit, they mostly did actually achieve their main ones, so thats something. the vehicles took longer than expected to go down tho so that slowed things up, and meant squads wer roasting!

The scoreline doesnt really reflect how close to being wiped out you were.... see it as a blessing at being given another chance to get through the group! Next stop Simon next Tuesday...

Just like to give a big congratulations to all the winners this tournament year!
Mike, well done on the double (a shame you had to play an extra game of warhammer to get there though) and well done to Brown! Now there's only you and Mike to have ever won more than one 40K title.
I'm pleased with my performance in the tourny this year, glad to be in third place in 40K, a bit annoyed that warhammer was played, and had fun at the Magic tournament. Well done to everyone for making it happen and helping it to work!
