The co-ordinator for OGC: Edge Hill, and Ormskirk in general, is me Luke Greensmith. While most of you will have met me, I do expect the occassional walk in around here wanting to know what's going on or there may be some regulars who need to get a hold of me.
My email is theheraldofogc@gmail.com and my mobile number is 07779730161 (on the Orange network).
Feel free to contact me at most times. Don't worry about it being late at night either, given the choice I don't go to bed until 2-4am anyway. If I don't want to get a phone call, the phone will be switched off. Apart from that, feel free!

The sky is blue because the atmosphere seperates the colours of light, and blue is the slowest colour.
The answer to your first question is not yet.

The sky is blue because the atmosphere seperates the colours of light, and blue is the slowest colour. that not true Luke! the atmosphere is blue because our eyes percieve it as blue. So you may see it as green, but u've been brought up to believe that is blue. For all we no the sky is red.

Actually, Luke is almost correct
Blue is the fastest colour in the spectrum (more or less) and red is the slowest.

I know, I'm a retard. Voilet is the fastest visable light, then followed by blue. The is still a reaction in the atmosphere that leaves blue visible of the 7. And to Neil, you could call it the colour Betty, it would still be that modulation of the light spectrum. On the subject of light, Cathode Rays rock!

i still stand by my previous statement. Just because the guy that 1st named the colour saw them like that, it doesn't mean he was rite. For we no, we're all colour blind, and colour blind people see colours as they actually are. We can say wot colour the sky truely is, because we don't know if we all percieve it in the same way...... so

It doesn't change the composition of light, just debate it's labelling.

This may be just a little off topic, not really co-ordinator related is it?

They are asking their regional coordinator something and therefore feeding my ego, so of course it is.

Doesn't have much to do with light or the colour of the sky does it?
