If you didnt already know, Outlaws of Arden is my full length novel set in the Old World. Ive stopped sending out draft copies as I am working on the second draft. Thanks for those who took the trouble to read it, credit will be noted in the finished version Anyway, for those who havent read it yet, please read draft 2 when it is available. After a lengthy few days at the library I am approximately 36% through to completing draft 2, whew. I hope to have it available by the end of Thursday Wednesday update - Going a little slow today, redraft now at approximately 51%. Tuesday 3rd June - First chance to get back to a Computer. Arden is now at 77% approx. Its completion is oh so near. Friday 10th June - It is done at last! Arden draft 2 is available now for any who wish to read it and help me formulate the third and final draft of the book, before the battle with the Black Library begins.

Some fan notes here. I was discussing with someone as to whether or not Valiance the Daemon Horse, should reatin its 6 legs, as I have in effect ripped off Final Fantasy's Odin mount. This is in homage to the game rather than stealing ideas really. Anyway, as Valiance has little to do with the plot in essence (its more of a thing for a sequel- and i'll do 2 more if people want it), should I simply delete the 6 legged reference. Well, whislt looking at the site I found a thing to do with dragons exisitng and requiring 6 limbs initially to develop those wings. One discussion was of the 6 legged horse mutation found dead at Chernobyl. Now this is perfect for the feel of the book, as Kislev in effect is the Warhammer equivalent or roughly were Chernobyl is based (and Russia in general) and the Chaos wastes are supposed to be full of horrible mutations. So Valiance has become something of a mark of respect to the horrors expereinced in a Chernobyl disaster and a damn cool character that I want to develop in future books (please love Outlaws of Arden ). In fact if Arden was published I'll give a small percentage of proceeds to the Chernobyl charity, theres an independant one in Ormsirkwere I wrote most of the book. The rest of course is to go into funding other OGC literature in the hope of one day having an OGC press (even if its just a subsidiary of a bigger press). Anyway heres the forum where I got that information from; www.scienceforums.net/forums/showthread.php?t=9961Origins of Odin's 6 legged horse; odin.biography.ms/The charity that some of Arden's earning will go towards; www.medicine-chernobyl.org/index.html
