basically, in 40k May and Brandon cannot meet until the final shouod they get that far and in Warhammer the same applies to Gray and Brandon

I'm not sure. It seems like a way of guaranteeing the same thing every year. The old system can throw up all kinds of results. I'm not voting until I've thought about it more.

The idea behind seeding in general is too actually get the same results every year, as in the best players always win. Sounds a little harsh but it help stop wildcards really, essentially the winner of the Tournament should reflect the best player in the club, and with seeding it really does take a new 'star' to actually win it, as opposed to a set of lucky breaks (champions league?). Of course there is still the chance of shocks and upsets but thats all part of the seeding system, for example if I drew May in a group then one of us would win a game, then all it takes is for the loser draw or drop another game and they are out, not even really a shock, just basic maths. However if the previous years finalists are in seperate groups and they get knocked out its more of a surprise and an opportuinty for up and coming players.

I'm not sure on how it would work... I take it that it would mean that you and May were in separate groups and then the top 2 from each group go through to the semis, with the first from one battling the second from the other... Would you and May then be able to battle in that round if one of you was first in their group and the other wasn't???

I'm in this one to try and make the third place play off... I'll be happy with that... As long as Tim doesn't win the Warhammer Tourny then I'll be happy...
