Easily Crystal Chronicles for me, what a complete piece of shit, had very little to do with final fantasy, just a few of the monsters, lame story, crap battle system, impossible end boss!!!

WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
*ahem*
I mean, the gameplay is engrossing and the start over with all your stuff function is the best addition to the series yet...

X-2 controlled my life. 178 hours of it anyway. Rumours of an X-3 at one point.

9 sucked, I played it to disk four then asked myself why I was forcing myself to play it, then I quit. It maybe be okay, but I just didn't really care about the story after the first 30mins, the kidnapping bit was ace though at the start.

Only had the displeasure of watching bits of XI but it seemed pretty lame. Other than that only played X-2, Anthology and Origins on that list. Cant say I enjoyed Anthology and Origins, mainly because they were o-o-o-old. I can still play 7 happily and probably always will be able too, I'd say it was the minimum standard set in terms of graphical playability. Even top down RPG's like Breath of Fire III that came after I'd now find unplayable, and VI had an alright troy but it was quite a grating experience. I only played it out of nothing better to do, ahh the college years.

1-6 have all been released on the DS or GBA so are all totally playable but that shouldn't matter, your refusal to play great games because of graphics is almost leatherbarrow-like. (okay some of the early FF games suck)

is less the graphics and more of a case of wandring on a lifeless grid getting into random battles every third grid that are jsutas lifeless and exceptionally boring

okay pre-5 fighting might aswell not exist but 5 and 6 have pretty well structured and enjoyable battle systems. 5s job system is ace.

Job system is good, but battle is generally too annoying to make it enjoyable outside of boss fights. See FFT for the prefect job system

FFT is near impossible to get hold of. And because Sony are fucktards, it is very unlikely European PS3 will be compatible with it.

I was looking forward to playing a legal copy of FFT as well. In conclusion, piracy is great.
