I just thought we could do an exchange on the useful things we've discovered here.
A quick intro... What's your highest grade? I thought it only went up to S, but managed to get an S+3. You don't get any parts for it, just bragging rights.
The most basic guideline is re-save the highest Falcon craft you have (the best for scoring, trust me) on the Ship modifier menu. This way you can set new abilities: It's the sphere icon on the right in the middle row.
ALWAYS set Draw and Medal Converter if you have it. Even on mission level 2 the medal rating helps once you get into beserk mode. The rest is down to how you play, but remember to keep updating as you win more skills and AP. You don't get the default Teeny Ships when you do this so have to make your own. Just strap some spare guns (make sure you have multiples) to a block with some engines and you're away. I use spare cockpits for extra power, but this slows you down.
Mike found Automatic mode... Pause the ship section for an otion menu. fully automatic firing has so many benefits it's rediculous. Well, 2, but it makes a huge difference.

Here's an idea, ignore this piece of shite minigame and focus on the things that are enjoyable or have some impact on the game

If the gummi game was a standalone game it would be awesome on a handheld, on a scale of r-type proportions. + if you dont like it then dont play it, simple as that. As it stands its an enjoyable distraction from the main kingdom hearts goodness, I had much fun on the gummi so screw you

it's fun for a bit, namely first time thorugh unlocking the roues and what not, but then medal obtaining melarchy is beyond shite and probably the hardest thing in the game, i'd rather fight Sephiroth with equipment (something that i could probably do if you could fight him again)

Medal collecting is only easy if you use Draw and Medal Converter, which I'm sure you get from mission level two anyway. Do the level 2's then go back over the level 1's. The point of the Gummi sections is fun. And you'll never truly 100% the game without it, it's a skill and prestige thing like powertransmigrating (equally pointless too). It's a good thing it isn't in the journal as the gameplay is so different and the boss is so damn hard

powertransmigration may be seemingly pointless but atleast you don't end with your pad through the window

And I'll brag that I play the game purely for the enjoyment factor and don't give a shit about all of the crap that's being bickered about. A great game, enough said

This is the FAQ thread Simon. Next, it's dicks and tape measures at dawn followed by the pissing up the wall contest.
