Probably released to give dedicated Space Marine players some hope in a game full of Titans and Super Heavy Tanks. It has no passenger capacity, but I think lasaggedon makes up for it.

Oh right it has no troop capacity, that does make it a bit better.
Yeah I guess it must be to counter the new stuff

I'm not normally one to rush to the defence of GW, but some of the massive boxes are a good idea.
Imagine two space marine players clubbing together to get the above land raider package. Normally, you'd expect to be paying £35 for a normal land raider, £40 for a crusader (which can still be made into a normal one). Effectively you'd be paying just £25 per model, and saving £50 in total on buying separately. Think of that logically, we're in a gaming group so why don't we club together and get a discount?

the way ebay works you could probably buy a grands worth of these boxes and make double the return.
Anyone else ever sold anything on ebay for more than their retail value?

Ah yes... you *could* do that, but youd only be able to put a handful on a week in order not to flood the market, and there are much better things out there to spend a grand on if you want to be a seller im sure

Yeah, spend it on Wii's wait until they're out of stock again and then relist them. Also event tickets are very sought after on ebay, easy to mark up to a higher value and get a quick sale.
