The www.brwc.co.uk/sitemap.html website discusses Ork Wartrukks as being simillar to Battlewagons, with less troop capacity, but twin-linked 'eavy bolters to make up for it. I've never seen a datafax for this vehicle, so I was wondering if anyone has it. It's not in the battlebible, either. Was it actualy released for 2nd Edition? Thanks!

No i don't believe they existed until 3rd edition 40k, and no the comparison is wrong.
Wartrucks are extremely lightly armoured and can easily be taken out with basic weapons fire, they're basicaly a no armoured open topped rhino with no passenger protection.

I recall a datafax floating around from somewhere (I think it was released in a white dwarf) so it did have origins in 2nd Ed.

The War Trukk appeared in the White Dwarf when the old WH 5th ed Champions of Chaos book was released, I think it had the Arena of Death in it. It also included a revised War Trukk datafax.
Off the top of my head it went something like: War Trukk - 2 crew, Heavy Bolter, 40 pts [str 5/6 ram?]
Hit locations - 1-2 War trukk (armour 10) 3-6 Crew/passengers
Transport - As many Orks as you can cram onto the back, without using sellotape or blue tac etc (the datafax really says this), any which fall off during movement are treated as having departed the vehicle

Any chance of digging it out and getting me a scan or a photo?
Thanks!

Yep, got it in front of me now. It is as described above except it has armour 12. Ram ST 6. Slow 8", combat 16", Fast 30". Upgradeable to twin linked HB's for +10 points.

Any chance I can get a scan? Does it just have the two damage locations (crew & trukk) or does it also have a wheel location?
Thanks!

Presumably the damage table resembles that of the warbuggy, as far as destroyed weapons, engine explodes, etc?
