this is aimed more as an in-house post though feel free to post if you wish
As we now use the Mordheim system for CC there are a few concerns rolling around on increasing combat effectiveness so here are a few ideas as to how to go about it (i personally have no real qualms with the sytem)
* models with a higher WS than opponents fought (cumulative) gain a +1 A bonus to their profiles
* models with a higher WS than an opponent it is striking that rolls a 6 to hit counts all wounds as double (if it wounds)
* Charging models recieve a +1 to hit bonus
* Charging models recieve +1 Attack
any more ideas or developments on the ones given?

Hmmm. Is that just in addition to the ones we were using already? Close combat troops are already effective enough, but I don't object to you making all of my tyranids harder as a result of the changes...
Just summarise the Mordheim ones for me (or are they just what we've been using previously?)

thats what I was wondering.
But to be honest, I dont think CC has been nearly good enough. By definition, it should be a lot better than shooting.. that is if you manage to manouver into it. Half the battle of CC is chosing your targets and getting into range etc
