Here's one of my squad of swooping hawks. My wife picked the color scheme, and has the exarch mostly painted. Hopefully I'll have more of these painted soon.

When I see the model with all those bright colors I think Harlequin. Is there a particular reason for her choice of colors?

eldar models are so nice, id love to play/ paint/ collect eldar.

I think she just thought it would look cool. I showed here some catalog shots of GW-painted Swooping Hawks, and this is the scheme she decided to use. It's really not quite so pink-magenta looking, that's just the flash. Unfortunately, without a flash, I couldn't get the brightness of the colors to show up. It's really a deep red, lending a flame-like appearance. Have to see if I can get some better lighting, so I don't need to use a flash.
