Actually, bot, if you look under my name, you'll see I live in Utah, USA. (Utah?!?!? Where the heck is Utah!?!?!?) Try MapQuest if you're feeling particularly brave and/or curious.
I'm arfaid I have to agree with 'E' from "The Incredibles." Capes may look cool, but all they really do is get in the way. They snag on undergrowth, catch on broken buildings, and get in your way when you're trying to draw your sword. They're great for keeping warm, but that's not really an issue for an aspect warrior with a sealed suit....

I remember seeing a Arhra conversion many years ago, it was converted from a Warp Spider Exarch and thus had four close combat arms, two mechanical and two biological it was pretty scary.
It wasn't just Karandras painted in Khornate colours. Capes can be used for concealment, it just depends where you are and what colour cape you're wearing, no use in wearing a crimson cape on a frozen tundra, most 40k miniatures make absolutely no sense, SM's for instance.

yeah.. not particularly tactical.. however I guess they just land in an instant from drop pods and thunderhaws and aim to anhiliate anything in their vicinity through shear force. Probably also the case that the majority of armys has motion/heat sensors built into their headgear/ targeters rendering conventional camouflage next to usless. Besides funky colour schemes look cooler

i rather meant furs used for decorative purposes, rather than their tactical factor. eldar may fancy the decoration of fur of skinned ferocious beast, or a cape taken from slain general and worn as a show off. i dunno, something like that. all i'm saying that a little converting never did any harm to a model. they can get different sword or bundle of heads hanging next to the hip. actually i'd rather use some models from dark eldar range. 90% of them is plain ridiculous. but you may spot an intresting bit. p.s. i know where utah is. i was typing drunk, that's all.

Considering my incredible skill at conversions, he's probably better-off as is. He looks properly sinister, and his equipment fits his profile. That's good enough for me. Please feel free to come up with your own conversions, and don't forget to post pics. I do have a bunch of eldar heads, maybe I should hang one or two from his pommel. I could probably get some spare ork heads from my buddy as well.
