ive just aquired a copy of the 4th ed. ork codex. what theyve done is break out the clan titles and arranged the ork army in a more logical way, ie having close combat mobs etc. the tribes are now chosen as a global theme for an army, so it does away with the notion of a few boyz from every tribe turning up. Certianly there could be a mix of tribes but this way armies ar emore themed. the list is more logical etc etc
i suggest converting the 2nd ed. ork list into this format, i wont take much effort

How do you mean?
I take it you would just rename the units to make them fit a more organised theme...

i've been lookin back on this again. I'll draft up a list that follows the fantasy orcs & goblins with the 4th ed units with the 2nd ed rules. The have the clans as special abilties etc

Its one of those things which is written out on papaer and will be amalgamated into a fully typed army list soon enough. I'll put it high on the priority list anyhow and try and have it done before the end of the month. The list wouldnt change army picked using existing lists really, its more to open it out into a more orky list ( and put a stop to some ridicolous combo's! ) At the moment were still working on clan specific rules, ill post some ideas for feedback soon enough
