After a serious lack of James Brown last night the players who had turned up to see the Tournament Final played a friendly capture the flag. I took Tau and was the first to retrieve the flag, before the Vespid holding it was warped across the firled by a Wraithcannon. A Lascannon marine under the command of Andrew Tonwley was the second to pick it up before he was dissolved by two fusion blaster hits from a crisis battlesuit. Pang then took the day as his dire avengers rushed in to claim the flag.
The game has spurned our appetites so much that we will run a competetitive capture the flag next Thursday, being in fact Meltdown 3 following on from the succesful Meltdown events in 2000 and 2003.
We are looking at making it six competitors only (given table size) and having small forces but with a multitude of quirky rules. We are also looking at making it painted models only to have some nice pictures for you to peruse!
If intersted then let us know, places are going fast, so far we have myself, Mark Berkley, Andrew Townley and Michael Pang confirmed!

Sounds fun! It's a pity I'm on the wrong side of the pond! Otherwise I'd jump at the chance!

How does a squad regenerate? Or is it instantly when they are finished off? Looks good, looking forward to it

Not been able to speak to Pang yet so its just the four confirmed at the moment, be nice to get it to six though. Its an excellent way to wind down from the highly charged rules-fest that is the Tournament
