Watch this space........the painting competition will be made by online vote this year (though votes will still be sent via email to justify a secret ballot). Hopefully by Wednesday, I will have the completed file for people to cast votes, with the winner being announced after the Tournament final on Saturday.
Bear in mind, anyone can vote its not an exclusive internal OGC thing, when the pics are on-line simply email me at burandano@googlemail.com or PM here with your top 3 (in ranked order) selections, and also a brief (ie 5-10 words) and why you voted (this is to try and weed out tactical voting). I will cast my own votes before the pics are placed on-line so I will not be able to cast deciding votes. Vote points are weighted by order (3pts for 1st and descending).
Watch out, for weds eve!!!!

Errr... so is it going to be the Terminator one or the power armour one so I can review before I cast my vote?

I think maybe the votes are already being cast, it was meant to be the terminator, but since the power armour one is in the link make it that one. I'm trying not to be awkward

As we always say....theres always next year In the future though, depending on feedback and debate at AGM, we will be doing a lot more things with participation available on-line, and with a lot more notice, this was a bit of a trial really. So watch out! Given our experience and standing as a long established organisation, it is a vision for OGC that we should begin crossing activities and participation with other groups, and consequently applying the middle finger to GW. Funnily enough I am specialising in alternative governance and global network structures in my Masters, the theory can be applied here If GW wants to focus on profit over its dedicated hobbyists then we shall organise ourselves! Anyway.....for the painting results, in voting Andrew Townley and Mark Berkley were tied for 1st place on points but as Andy had received for 2nd place votes as opposed to third then he was awarded the tie-breaker. James Brown came in third, with Tim Harness missing out by a point, and Simon Gray just a few more behind that.

Excellent news on the future issues.
I see that my votes would have altered the outcome...

Still, nobody else managed to daemonic attack a farseer TWICE this tournament, so thats something I can be smug about! Poor Monovie has no luck when I get that card, 2nd time he was on fire and running for the edge of the board too :/
