hahaha, im just like destinies child
anyway.
We had a thought today, what exacly are we going to do if we got a room from the uni to use?
Is it just magic, or will other stuff happen there?
Just a random thought while we were walking around today.

Just to warn you, I was the head of the AMS (Alternative Music Society) for two years at Edgehill. The uni was very awkward with us because we were a non athletic soc and had no religious standing. We had to whine and whine just for the minibus for one night and always got venue nights when none of the other trendy DJs wanted it.
We are talking a few years now so hopefully things have changed, but I'll always see Edgehill as a place that doesn't really support people that aren't 'the norm'.

2000-2003. Did a chemistry and physics teaching degree, lot of good it did me...
What year are you in and what are you studying? Are you all students?

I'm 3rd year doing IS
I came here in 2002 so i remember the rock nights and stuff that you mentioned, i think you would of been here in my first year

They are the only ones I ever went to. Best one for me was when big mike was doing the music and he just basicaly got a laptop and got all my mp3s and used them. Was sooo good having all my music played ^_^

As much as we can. Magic is the most viable because we can just invade the Terrace Cafe, but the more space and time consuming stuff can begin if we grab the room. D&D (and other RPGs especially) would be ideal where we can all get out of the way.
