BACK ON TOPIC! WoW: The game finishes when you hit max level. Either spend the rest of your worthless existence gloating, or roll a new character while you wait for a new expansion to push the level cap back by 10 again. GW: The game only just begins when you hit max level. Leveling up was the tutorial, not the point. i dont recall the thread being WOW V GW.... theres more to WoW than that and you forget that leveling on GW is just as fucking tedious as it is in WoW. this should be in the other thread really... yeah the real topic, um, lvl 20 it comes after lvl 19

Well done man.
How long playtime did it take you? Did you miss any story quests?

thanks, not been playing for than 20 hours, Factions gives shit loads of exp for trivial quests "walk my dog for 4000EXP", as a result i've only done 2 story missions, doesnt help that they're gay hard.

Still going to stick to your 'levelling up is the same massive slog as WoW' after this? I'm going to play through the trail month of WoW to rip it to pieces, bet you I don't make level 20

Not. Going. To happen. Addiction is entirely possible, but will probably result in the realisation I'm paying for a game to be infinately pointless. I like goals, and I'm an RPG fanboy so the cheesy campaign structure of GW appeals to me.

"instead i have 2.5 continents and an add on of redundant exp." stil not get it? bascially just forget the pointless leveling up, gettin to level 20 is the begining, the lower levels are to allow u to learn the game system without too much to confuse u. the real way to increase ur skill is literally to gain new skills! and for that you need skill points, which are gained through xp.

i have all the skills i'm going to use except the elite ones, i just get bored killing hoardes of enemies (dying an awful lot in the process) just to be able to progress and repeat the process with no real gains.
Surely not even the most hardened of fanboys cannot deny that gw is DAMN FUCKING REPETITVE!!!
i'll probably do factions and leave it at that.
@luke: you dont play many rpgs for a fanboy do you?

factions is the most repetative and has the worst storyline imo, nightfall are gwen are a lot more and interesting. so see how u like those. u cant say u have all the skills u want as uve only seen factions ones! and one build is never flexible enough for all areas, especially as an assassin. couldnt not dying a lot be seen as a gain? rather than an ever increasing number next to ur name.

At the moment. I've even MADE a few (with varying degrees of success). You missed the college years. Let us leave it at that. It all goes downhill once you mention Star Wars.

Call Guild Wars repetative when the Missions get repetative. They've been so hard I've cried blood but I've yet to be faced with similar missions. If they where all formuliac I might be able to get all the damn bonus's done!
You have yet to acheive anything in GW, just play it some more. All I've managed is a handful of mediocre titles. Acheivements are actually acheivements in Guild Wars, it's not a case of killing boars in the forest none stop until you hit maximum level a la South Park.

Your Dragonball Omega game was actually quite good I thought. Why not type it up and get your own rule sets for the website ?

I was supposed to, but when the pile amounted to so much paper my worktop was bending under the weight I threw in the towel Joking asside, I never finished the rules to my satisfaction. I might type up just the original rules as a Beta giving the citizens of teh internets a chance to help me develop it more.

After i left Shing Jea island i've felt like i'm doing nothing new...i dont have the hard drive space to install each version, it'd take like a quarter of my max space Charly: i've checked guild wiki and am quite happy with my current skill set

Everything on the island was pisspoor training missions to show you all the buttons and get you to level 20 as soon as possible. Pre sear Ascalon is nothing special. Once the game lets you out of the play pen and ino the real world it picks up as it goes on.
